Beautiful cool day today.  After temperatures in the low 90’s yesterday, the low 70’s felt nice.   Had an early start at 6:00 am and was done by 10:00, so that helped too!  I think I’ll try to do the early starts for these summer months to avoid the heat.

There was a tiny little street with just 4 houses on it called Oard Court.  Like Board without the B.

It looks to me like there were several trees that had branches grafted (spliced?) on to them.  I’ve heard of this, but I don’t think I’ve seen it done before…

 

 

It’s hard to read, but the back window of a car had a flag or banner that appeared to say something about Bosnia / Herzegovina   .  Maybe a sports team?

I had a boomerang growing up on our farm in Nebraska.  We used to go out into the cow pasture to throw it.  It still somewhat amazes me how well they are able to return to the thrower.  I know there was always that second or two of panic after a really good throw where you afraid it was going to come back and hit you.  But I guess we got off lucky, and never hurt ourselves!

I’m not sure if they’re a good idea for a toy within city limits?!?
