The Longmont Street Festival is an annual event that seems to grow bigger and more popular every year. Jennifer & I were late getting there this year, and it was starting to get dark, so the pictures aren’t the best. And I only got to see a fraction of what was going on.
I’ve made several references in my earlier blogs to some of the artwork by Gamma Acosta about town. Gamma was commissioned to ‘decorate’ an alleyway near 3rd and Main. As part of this year’s festival, you could watch him as he creates his art. I’ve never met him before, or watched him work, so this was fun to see.
Perhaps later on, when he’s all done, I’ll put in a digression blog with photos of the completed alley art.
